Breakthrough
After spending the last few weeks at a bit of a standstill with Every Single Day, I had a breakthrough today—a new lead guitar part. I was starting to wonder if I had boxed myself into a corner with the production, since nothing seemed to give the recording what it needed. But then towards the end of a long day in the studio, I picked up the telecaster and all of the sudden the perfect part just came to me. Nice. Finally some hope that this’ll turn out like something I’ll want to listen to.
I went snowboarding in Colorado last week, and it was amazing. I’ll post some photos when I get a chance.
