Standard Trio Album One is reviewed in the current issue of Cadence Magazine.
Critic Larry Hollis writes:
Shah has assimilated both
(Keith Jarrett and the great Bill Evans) into his own creative muse to produce
a startlingly impressive touch.
This threesome has refreshed these loved evergreens (check out Shah's
inventive introduction to "Autumn Leaves"), not to the point of
distraction but enough where even the most jaded listener will never
be bored. This trio definitely deserve a fair listen.
